Geothermal Energy -Portfolio
Rison Capital channels institutional capital into renewable heating projects for buildings. The geothermal portfolio finance local energy solutions that secure the buildings heating demands at a lower running cost than district heating or current direct heating solutions.
The result: measurable savings, predictable returns, and tangible climate impact.
Counterparty terms and benefits
The portfolio consists of direct yielding securities with a defined counterparty. Typical clients are private and public real-estate companies and industries.
Complete Financing Solution for Energy
Using institutional capital to complement existing investment budgets , enables higher energy performance without raising costs.
Flexible Ownership and Buy-Back
Real-estate owners retain the option to buy back the energy asset at any time, while investors benefit from a predictable holding period and clear exit mechanics.
Operational Expertise, Measurable Impact
With end-to-end control of procurement, operations, and maintenance, Rison ensures performance, uptime, and compliance with the highest ESG standards.
Foreseeable Costs, Sustainable Growth

This creates stable yields backed by real assets, low volatility, and high environmental impact, aligning investor objectives with the energy transition.
About the Portfolio
Rison is developing an asset portfolio focused on energy production for buildings. The set-up makes it possible for real-estate owners to guarantee a high energy rating at a competitive cost. To maximise the benefits for the counterparty, Rison offers flexible terms tailored to raise the valuation and direct return of the property.
Market outlook: Geothermal over District Heating
We invest in next-generation energy solutions that can replace traditional district heating with local, high-efficiency systems. This reduces operating costs, improves energy ratings, and strengthens long-term asset performance. From a energy system perspective, our assets complements the district heating market and its actors so that they can invest in areas where a heating grid makes better business sense.
Investor highlights
Rison’s Geothermal Portfolio allows institutional investors to gain exposure to tangible, risk managed infrastructure assets with stable returns. Each project generates long-term cash flows secured by contractual agreements with property owners.

BESS - Portfolio
Rison Nordic Energy, provides battery farms and real estate owners with long-term financing for BESS hardware. By placing capital-intensive energy storage assets within our portfolio structure, counterparties can secure a stronger capital cost base, achieve higher ROI, and reduce overall risk.

Heating and Solar for New Buildings
As a financing partner, we enable developers and real estate investors to offload a significant share of energy system investments when constructing new properties. Our portfolio provides a flexible option to secure a high energy rating, without increasing the overall project budget.

LED-lighting in public schools
Our LED portfolio enables organisations to transition to energy-efficient lighting without requiring their own investment. We leverage institutional capital, such as pension funds, to finance, maintain, and operate the systems, ensuring that total costs remain lower than the energy savings achieved.
Our Investments
Project in Focus: Tallbohovshöjden
Tallbohovshöjden, a residential development outside Stockholm, demonstrates Rison’s model in practice.
Together with SEB Nordic Energy, Rison financed and implemented a full geothermal and solar-energy system, entirely off-balance-sheet for the developer.
The project achieves significant operational savings while shielding the property from future district-heating price increases.
